Womens Backpacking Adventure
What a great weekend to get out and enjoy the beautiful Cypress Hills. The Women’s Outdoor Weekend Backpacking Adventure in May was a huge success. Women from across the province attended this program and hiked throughout the park carrying all of the gear they needed. The first day the women put on 18 KM with only a few sore feet and a great sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. Over the weekend the women applied the principles of Leave No Trace, setting up camp in any conditions, stream crossings, dealing with blisters, outdoor cooking and much more.

The Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation would like to thank Brad Mason of Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park for his support in making this program a big success. Below are some pictures from this great trip:
