SWF $10,000 Life Insurance Program for Members
The Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation is pleased to be offering a new $10, 000 life insurance policy to members only:
Eligibility
- All SWF members under age 70.
- Spouses under age 70 and dependent children from 15 days old to under 19 years of age can be included for an additional cost.
- Members and spouses who enroll before they are 70 may renew up to age 74. Coverage terminates at age 75. If children are being applied for, all dependent children within the eligible ages must be indicated and covered.
Coverage
The plan pays a benefit of $10,000 from death due to any cause other than what is excluded.
Exclusion 1: If the person’s death is by suicide, while sane or insane, the plan will not pay any amount of life insurance coverage that was in force for less than two (2) years. Full coverage applies after it has been in force for 2 years.
Exclusion 2: No Life Insurance benefit will be payable if twenty-four (24) months immediately prior to the Insured Person’s effective date the Insured Person was attended to or received medical treatment, consultation, care or services by a Physician, including diagnostic measure for any symptom or medical problem which leads to the Insured Person’s death, unless the death of the Insured Person occurs later than twenty-four (24) consecutive months from the Insured Person’s effective date or date of most recent Reinstatement of coverage under this policy. Full coverage applies after it has been in force for 2 years.
Annual Costs for each Member, Spouse, and Child for $10,000

The cost paid changes each five (5) years based upon their age. Example: if you are a Male Non-Smoker age forty-seven (47) your cost for ten thousand dollars ($10,000) of life insurance is thirty-one dollars ($31.00) per year until you reach age fifty (50) when your cost changes to forty-nine dollars ($49.00).

- Included in your SWF membership is the following comprehensive insurance package:
- $5,000 Accidental Death & Dismemberment Benefit while participating in fishing, hunting, shooting, archery and other Branch/Federation authorized activities.
- $3,000,000 Personal Excess Liability. Personal Limit (Excess of any Primary personal Liability) relating to hunting, fishing and Federation activities, for bodily injury or property damage which the member may be obligated to pay.
- $2,000,000 Personal Limit (Excess of Primary Personal Liability, same as above). Applicable to Shooting and/or Archery Ranges Only
- $3,500 Accidental Death benefit for each member in good standing. This coverage is in effect 24 hours a day, anywhere in the world, and is provided, at no cost, by American Income Life Company.
