What crazy weather this has been lately! If it’s not -40 outside, then it’s plus 2 and raining...definitely not good for snowshoeing! The ‘Women Going Wild’ seminar was recently held at the Saskatoon Wildlife Federation and was a great success. It was great to see the women talking to each other about their outdoor adventures and getting excited about sharing their stories. The feedback and coverage we received on this event was awesome and there will definitely be more women’s outdoor programs in the future. Conservation Camp applications are available and can also be sent out from Central Office. Please encourage the youth in your Branches to get involved and participate in camp. You can ensure them that they will have a great week filled with lots of hands-on and outdoor activities. It’s important to give as many youth as possible this opportunity to grow as a young outdoor enthusiast and become more knowledgeable about their outdoor surroundings.
