A former writer and outdoorsman once stated," If you only had 20 rounds of ammo., you would be well advised to use 18 at a rifle range, improving your marksmanship, and 2 on the actual hunt, rather than the whole 20 on the hunt and blowing holes into the country."

Heads must be measured by an official measurer to be entered into the big game records and must be measured by December 31 to be eligible for the 2011 awards. Remember that there is no mandatory drying period, and these measurers are volunteers, so please don’t wait until the Christmas holidays to have heads measured.
