The Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation has122 branches across the province with over 30,000 members representing every walk of life.
Branch memberships are available through any SWF branch and are classified as follows:
Regular: Anyone who subscribes to the objectives of the SWF and joins an affiliated branch, or club, may become a Regular member with the right to vote at annual and regional meetings and be elected as a director of the provincial board.
Affiliate: A current Regular member may purchase an Affiliate membership for their spouse (or equivalent) at a reduced rate prescribed by the branches with the right to vote at annual and regional meetings and be elected as a director of the provincial board. An Affiliate membership for children eighteen and under may be purchased at a reduced rate prescribed by the branches, with ages 12 - 18 given the right to vote at annual and regional meetings, but cannot be elected as a director of the provincial board.
Family: A Family membership may be purchased by a current Regular member at the prescribed rate, which would include two or more Affiliate members within the regular member’s immediate family (spouse, children within the regular member’s household).
Benefits of a Branch Membership include:
- Comprehensive insurance package including:
- $5,000 Accidental Death & Dismemberment Benefit while participating in fishing, hunting, shooting, archery and other Branch/Federation authorized activities.
- $3,000,000 Personal Excess Liability. Personal Limit (Excess of any Primary personal Liability) relating to hunting, fishing and Federation activities, for bodily injury or property damage which the member may be obligated to pay.
- $2,000,000 Personal Limit (Excess of Primary Personal Liability, same as above). Applicable to Shooting and/or Archery Ranges Only
- $3,500 Accidental Death benefit for each member in good standing. This coverage is in effect 24 hours a day, anywhere in the world, and is provided, at no cost, by American Income Life Company.
- Low rate $10, 000 life insurance policy
- Every 2 months members receive the Outdoor Edge magazine delivered to their door ($6 of the membership fee is allocated for your subscription)
- Members save $10 at BoaterExam.com.
- Members save 10% at Mark's Work Wearhouse.
- Eligible to enter provincial fish and big game (Henry Kelsey) competitions.
- Eligible to enter all local branch trophy competitions.
- Eligible to attend and vote at all branch meetings.
- Eligible to attend banquets and special events of your branch as well as participate in local projects.
- Eligible to attend and vote at regional meetings and the annual convention.
- Satisfaction of supporting conservation and good resource management.
Membership fees vary from branch to branch. Please contact the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation head office for more information or the contact person of the branch closest to you.
Most people have a concern about our outdoors but do not have the time to be actively involved in conservation programs. Some, while donating their time and talent, would like to do more. Businesses and professional people have expressed a desire for a special program through which they can lend their support.
The Provincial Membership, Provincial Family Membership and Supporting Membership programs provide that opportunity. As a Provincial member, with an annual fee of $25 or a Provincial Family membership, with an annual fee of $35, you will receive the following benefits:

- Your membership ensures the continuation of local and provincial programs such as: Wildlife Tomorrow, Habitat Trust, Guns for Habitat, Outdoor Conservation Camp, Operation Respect, Henry Kelsey Big Game Records, Wetland and Habitat Conservation, Fisheries & Wildlife Enhancement.
- A wallet card certifying you as a Provincial member.
- A Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation decal.

One way to improve your eco-image is to join the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation with a Corporate Membership. Your membership allows you to support us as we secure, enhance and preserve wildlife and fisheries habitat as well as develop and maintain outdoor educational programs.
